New features
The new Kia Telluride has many new enhancements, but key upgrades are in the style and technology. It has a refreshed look that makes it more attractive, sleek, luxurious, and elegant. An upgraded grille, new redesigned and powerful headlights, and an upgraded front bumper make the SUV stand out from many other vehicles.

The automaker has introduced many changes to infotainment and interior technology. A 12.3-inch screen allows you to access infotainment and other essential information, and you also get gauge displays in the digital instrumental panel. Other features of the new Kia Telluride include navigation as a standard offering on all trims in the lineup. You also get a Wi-Fi hotspot onboard. Most interestingly, Kia has introduced two new rugged and sporty trims to the Telluride: X-line and X-Pro.

Engine and performance
The base Kia Telluride model comes with a naturally aspirated V-6 engine capable of generating roughly 290 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to an automatic eight-speed transmission that powers the front wheels. You can also get an all-wheel drive for any of the trims for a larger sum. Another good feature of the new Kia Telluride is the pickup and quick acceleration that comes from the powerful engine. On the downside, the SUV is not as responsive to throttle inputs at low speeds.

When it comes to performance, you can expect a firm and easy ride, especially on roads. This is possible with a self-leveling rear suspension, a top-notch powerful braking system, and excellent steering capabilities. The SUV is a good eight inches off the ground, making it suitable for off-road rides and excursions too. You can tow roughly 5,500 pounds.

The new Kia Telluride offers a decent fuel economy. The two-wheel drive trims give approximately 20 mpg on local roads and 26 mpg on the highway. These numbers dwindle with the four-wheel drive but are still better than some other same-class SUVs on the market.

Interiors and cargo
The interiors of the new Kia Telluride scream comfort and luxury. The quality of the build and materials give the SUV a very upscale look. The top trim of the vehicle, Telluride SX, has the best features, including driver seat memory settings, head-up displays, and even heated and ventilated seats. The spacious cabin can accommodate around eight individuals with a second-row bench seat. There is lots of storage space throughout the cabin, and you also get cargo space behind the third row of seats that come in handy for long dives.
