  • Prolia medication is given once every six months. They have been found to increase the bone density. Prolia like other medicines doesn’t cause stomach upset. However, Prolia medication has some serious risk involved. People with low blood calcium level should not opt for Prolia. Prolia medication is not good for pregnant ladies. People who stop Prolia medication are at high risk of damaging their bones. Skin problems like rash and eczema are some of the side effects related to skin. Side effects like low blood pressure, breathing trouble, throat tightness, swollen lips, swollen tongue, and face are some of the unwanted side effects of Prolia medication.

    These are some of the medicinal treatments for osteoporosis. It is best to take these medicines empty stomach. Plenty of water has to be taken along with these medications. The main reason for the side effects is because of the stomach not absorbing these medicines. Most people who follow the medication properly as mentioned by the doctor, don’t face these side effects and can effectively manage the condition.
