Quick and tasty treats for your sweet tooth
These quick and easy treats are the perfect way to satiate your cravings. All those with a sweet tooth are constantly on the lookout for some no-mess desert recipes. Below are three quick and easy recipes for desserts that are very easy to whip up and keep you craving for more.
 Black Forest Cake 
  Ingredients  
 1 tin sweetened condensed milk 
 1 tsp vanilla essence 
 1 tsp baking soda 
 1 tsp baking powder 
 4 tbsp cocoa powder 
 1¾ cup flour 
 100 grams butter 
 50 grams milk chocolate 
 200ml aerated soda 
 200 grams fresh cream 
 1 small tinned cherries 
 2 tsp icing sugar 
Method
Grease an 8 diameter baking tin and sprinkle flour.

Add the aerated soda to the batter slowly and keep aside the batter into the baking tin and leave to bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool the cake for a bit, and cut it into two halves.
Drain & de-stone cherries. Soak both halves of the cake in cherry syrup. Join the two layers of the cake with whipped cream and chopped cherries.
 Brownies  
 Ingredients  
 1/2 cup walnut chopped 
 2 eggs 
 75 g powdered sugar 
 1 tsp baking powder 
 50 grams cocoa powder 
 125 grams flour 
 125 grams butter 
 1/2 cup milk 
 1/2 tin sweetened condensed milk 
 Method  
 Spread grease and sprinkle flour on the baking tin. Pre-heat the oven at 180o C. Combine the flour, cocoa & baking powder in a bowl. 
Whisk the butter & sugar until it creams, and add each egg ensuring it has no lumps. Add the flour powder alternating it with sweetened condensed milk. Flavor it with chopped walnuts. Keep it in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
 Let it cool, cut and serve. 
 Christmas Fruit Cake  
 Ingredients  
 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder 
 100grams butter 
 1/2cup sugar 
 1/3cup warm water 
 2 cups flour 
 1 tsp baking powder 
 1 tsp baking soda 
 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder 
 150 ml aerated soda 
 1 tin sweetened condensed milk 
 1.5 cups chopped dried fruits 
 Method  
 Grease an 8 diameter baking tin and sprinkle flour. In the meantime, pre-heat the at 1800 C. Caramelize the sugar and let it cool. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl. Coat the cut fruits with a teaspoon of flour. 
 Slightly soften the butter and add sweetened condensed milk. Add the flour, alternating with aerated soda and caramel syrup. Blend it will with the cut fruits. 
 Bake it for an hour at 1800C, cool and slice.
