What’s new about the new GMC Terrain?
The GMC Terrain has received a stylish revamp for its new model. It sports a revised grille and a front bumper, new LED headlamps and taillamps, updated upholstery, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The optional 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine has also been discontinued, leaving the 1.5-liter engine the sole choice.

The new GMC Terrain offers four available choices for buyers – SLE, SLT, AT4, and the Denali, that cost between $31,295 to $39,995 (MSRP).

Technical features:
Engine, transmission, and performance:  The Terrain comes with a standard turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The car is a boon for long highway drives with a soft suspension.

Fuel economy:  The car is real value-for-money when it comes to mileage offered. The front-wheel drive offers 25 mpg in the city, and 30 mpg on the highway, while the all-wheel drive offers 28 mpg on the highway.

Infotainment:  Terrain’s infotainment system is equipped with the latest in-car connectivity features. It is easy to operate and responds quickly to commands. This experience is further enhanced by its clear graphics and logical menus. The car easily pairs with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto and boasts an onboard WiFi hotspot. The in-dash navigation system is standard on the top model Denali and is optionally available for the other versions of the Terrain.

Safety and driver assistance:  The GMC Terrain offers a host of safety and driver assistance features. It has a 5-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) based on its performance in the crash test. The cars’ key safety features include standard automated braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.

The perfect blend of technology and safety, the new Terrain also offers a host of other safety features to choose from, such as the Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Rear Park Assist, and IntelliBeam Auto Highbeams.

Warranty:  With a comprehensive and competitive warranty and maintenance program, the GMC Terrain matches that of its competitors. The limited warranty covers 36,000 miles or 3 years, the Powertrain warranty covers 60,000 miles or 5 years, and complimentary maintenance service is covered for the first visit.

Available in a separate trim for every adventure and offering a traction select system for the all-wheel drives, the new GMC Terrain is built to be your partner through all of life’s experiences.
